Marine engineering and marine engine services
A close, rigorous technical service tailored to each vessel, from Sanlúcar de Barrameda to the whole of mainland Spain and the islands.
At sea, there is no room for error
An engine failure can stop a fishing trip, interrupt a passage or put safety on board at risk. That is why entrusting your vessel's maintenance to a marine mechanic who specialises in marine engines is not optional: it is the best way to avoid risks and higher costs.
Whether you need a preventive service, technical assistance in the middle of a passage or advice before an investment, we work with a clear commitment: optimal engine performance and safe navigation.
Technical advice and pre-purchase boat inspection
Buying a boat, whether a yacht or a working vessel, is a major investment involving many technical decisions. We support you with a professional pre-purchase inspection of the engine and the main systems on board:
- We check the engine's performance while running.
- We assess the condition of key components.
- We detect possible faults, wear or poor previous maintenance.
With a clear technical report you can negotiate the price, make informed decisions and avoid unexpected costs after the purchase.
Buy with confidence, backed by an expert.
Preventive marine engine maintenance
At sea, any breakdown can become a problem for the vessel and the crew. That is why we work preventively: we design tailored maintenance plans that detect any sign of wear or failure in the engine early, before it becomes an emergency.
Oil and filter changes, checks of the cooling, injection and transmission systems, and replacement of wear parts according to running hours and the manufacturer's recommendations. So you can sail safely, without interruptions or extra costs.
Anticipating is the best way to look after your vessel.
Dry-dock work and haul-outs
A haul-out in dry dock is the ideal time to inspect, repair and fully recondition a vessel. We coordinate and carry out comprehensive work: from mechanical work on the propulsion system, shafts and propellers to painting, plating and exterior reconditioning of the hull.
We oversee every detail from a technical point of view so the boat goes back in the water in optimal condition, ready to keep performing at its best.
A complete overhaul, from keel to engine.
Baudouin marine engines and spare parts
As an official Baudouin agent, we advise on, supply and install Baudouin marine engines and a wide range of high-quality marine accessories, with reliable and efficient solutions for all types of vessels.
Baudouin engines stand out for their durability, power and low fuel consumption, ideal for both commercial fishing vessels and leisure boats. We also supply genuine Baudouin spare parts, as well as parts from other brands such as Weichai and Yuchai, to extend the life of your engine.
We help you choose the most suitable engine and components so that your investment is a safe one.
Genuine spare parts of the highest quality.
Product presentation and technical handover of your engine
When you buy a Baudouin engine through HTC Mechanic, it doesn't end with the delivery. We run a hands-on product presentation, on board your vessel or in the workshop, so owners, skippers and chief engineers get to know their new engine from day one:
- How the engine and its main systems work.
- Control panel, alarms and gauges: what they mean and how to respond.
- Correct start-up, running-in and shutdown procedures.
- Daily checks and basic maintenance routines on board.
- Recommended maintenance plan to extend engine life.
It is a product familiarisation session designed to help you get the most out of your investment.
Know your engine from day one.
